Trivia Memes

Ah, those lengthy trivia lists that are claimed to be "true" or "fact" etc. but are they?

Usually only a small percentage are, the rest are misleading or all out false.

These are difficult to mangle because of the sheer amount one must look up to verify or debunk. Well, the ones you're unsure about anyway.

This is probably why so many people chime in with one or two items each.

there are other items in these lists which are just so stupid that anybody in their right mind just doesn't have any excuse to believe them.

--

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: Can you guess which of the following are true and which are false?

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: of course I can.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: Which of the following statements are either true or false?

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Most are false.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 1. Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf:For the short term, maybe. But neither have much effect on me. Apples contain sugar, which gives you some energy for a little while...

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 2. Alfred Hitchcock didnít have a bellybutton.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: False! Of course he did at some point before it might've been covered up by a surgical procedure. Does it matter?

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 3. A pack-a-day smoker will lose approximately 2 teeth every 10 yrs.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Rot! If that was true, every smoker would be toothless soon in life. Here is an article.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 4. People do not get sick from cold weather; itís from being indoorsa lot more.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong!

Whether the cold keeps them indoors so they have more contact with people and catch germs, or whether someone gets sick from too much exposure to cold bringing up the stress level which causes the immune system to weaken so they catch germs, yes, cold weather makes people get sick more. And let's not forget hypothermia and frostbite…

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 5. When you sneeze, all bodily functions stop even your heart!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Utterly false! For one thing, a sneeze only lasts a moment, not even long enough to last a full heart-pump, and nowhere near long enough to shut everything down. That's just stupid.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 6. Only seven ( 7 ) per cent of the population are lefties.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Then why are there so many lefties? This is false too. complete balderdash. You make it sound as if being left-handed is as rare as something like albinism, dwarfism, having a condition that makes one very sick when exposed to sunlight, and that just isn't true.

This article puts the percentage at anywhere between 4 to 15% but I still believe the percentage is a lot higher.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 7. 40 people are sent to the hospital for dog bites every minute.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Which hospitals exactly? Which people? What kind of dogs? Where in the country? which country? which continent? This is bull. What next, are you going to make up some stat about people ending up in the hospital because of cat scratches and hamster bites too? I'm pretty sure those would be higher.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 8. Babies are born without knee caps. They donít appear until they are 2-6 yrs. old.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong! Babies have kneecaps. They just aren't as hard as grown up ones. Cartlidge-like things.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 9. The average person over fifty will have spent 5 years waiting in lines.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong again. The waiting in line varies from person to person and seriously, who actually took the time to study that? you'd have to go follow a lot of specific people over 50 years and tally up every line they stood in, which means you'd have to be with them all the time. This is just garbage.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 10. The toothbrush was invented in 1498.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Nope, 1938, but according to this article, the concept has been around since 3000 BC. And my toothbrush isn't that old.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 11. The average housefly lives for one month.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: True! Here's an interesting article about the housefly!

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 12. 40,000 Americans are injured by toilets each year.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: "help! My toilet attacked me!" Oh, please, nobody's gonna buy that! People are may get injured when they fall against the toilet or by doing something stupid around a toilet like trying to make it explode, in which case, they'd be injured by their own stupidity. but the exploding toilet story is false anyway. It's just that there might be somebody somewhere who really is foolish enough to deliberately try it.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 13. A coat hanger is 44 inches long when straightened.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well I'd put it at sorta close to three feet, so what?

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 14. The average computer user blinks 7 times a minute.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Ree-donculous! They don't blink any more or less than the next person, and most of us use computers and smartphones now as it is. You won't convince me you actually stalked a bunch of people and stared at their eyes to watch and calculate their blink-rates.

This would have to be somehow scientifically monitored, and not by a chain letter originator.

this site👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 15. Your feet are bigger in the afternoon than the rest of the day.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: This site agrees, but one wonders if they relied on chain letters to reach that conclusion.

My shoes fit me the same during any part of the day. ditto for my socks and slippers.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 16. Most of us have eaten a spider in our sleep.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong! For one thing, why on earth would a spider crawl into a person's mouth? it just doesn't happen. And why make this claim about spiders when house flies would make more sense? Flies are more likely to look for an environment like a human mouth to hang in. And since I don't open my mouth when I sleep, I've never eaten any sort of bug in my sleep.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 17. The REAL reason ostriches stick their head in the sand is to search for water.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: actually, if they really do this at all, it's to swallow grit to aid in the digestion of their food…

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 18. The only 2 animals that can see behind itself without turning itís head are the rabbit and the parrot.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Nope. The woodcock, lots of rodents, bugs, reptiles and amphibians, and flat fish and shellfish as well.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 19. John Travolta turned down the starring roles in ìAn Officer and a Gentleman' and ìTootsie.'

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: ? I'm not up on the lives of actors and what movies they were in.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 20. Michael Jackson owns the rights to the South Carolina State anthem.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: No he doesn't.

Besides, he's dead now.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 21. In most television commercials advertising milk, a mixture of white paint and a little thinner is used in place of the milk.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Sure, maybe, when you want a close-up shot of how white it is, but when people drink milk on camera, they use real milk… Okay, maybe a mix of ice cream and milk/cream, but still, something made from real milk.

22. Prince Charles and Prince William NEVER travel on the same airplane just in case there is a crash.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong. there was someone on the Snopes discussion who had seen them leaving a plane together, so there goes that one.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 23. The first Harley Davidson motorcycle built in 1903 used a tomato can for a carburetor.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: ? Here's an article.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 24. Most hospitals make money by selling the umbilical cords cut from women who give birth. They are reused in vein transplant surgery.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: No, most hospitals make money because it costs money to be sick.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 25. Humphrey Bogart was related to Princess Diana. They were7th cousins

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: ? What does it matter? They're both dead.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: 26. If coloring werenít added to Coca-Cola, it would be green .

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong. there never was a green cola, and without the colouring, it would be clear.

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: “Stewardesses” is the longest English word typed with the left hand, and “lollipop” is the longest word typed with the right hand.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: And neither has been typed anywhere near recently by me. and yes, I also know 'typewriter' is a long word typed on the row above home. It is also a machine that's obsolete.

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: No word in the English language rhymes with “month”, “silver”, “orange”, or “purple.”

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Duh! So?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: “Dreamt” is the only English word that ends with “mt.”

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *Sigh* This is still going around after what, more than a decade?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: Our eyes are the same size from birth but our nose and ears never stop growing.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So why do I still have a small nose and ears then?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: The sentence “The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog” uses every letter in the alphabet.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Blah blah blah blah. I knew that in fourth grade…

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: The words “kayak,” “racecar” and “level” are palindromes, meaning they are the same read left to right or right to left.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well duh, I knew that, and there are many others, too. So?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: There are only four words in the English language that end with “dous” – tremendous, stupendous, hazardous and horrendous.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Whatever. are you going to marvel over how few words end in simply 'ous' next?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in order – facetious and abstemious.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: The latter is one i've never heard of and the former I rarely use anyway. So?

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: “Typewriter”

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh brother, here we go.

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: is the longest words that can be typed with only one row of the keyboard.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: See above. I beat you to the punch there.

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: Women blink nearly twice as often as men.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Bull. How can one possibly study blink rates in many many people, all at once, in some sort of ongoing study? You're just making that one up off the top of your head.

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: There are more chicken than people in the world.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well yeah, and more bugs than chickens. It's, like, well, all about the littler animals multiplying so there are more of them - enough of them to feed the bigger animals, like, know...

👨🏻‍🏫Meme2: However, if the population of China walks past you 8 abreast, the line would never end because of the rate of reproduction in that country.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: What's chickens got to do with human reproduction in China? Besides, this is a lie. China has a stinking one child policy, remember? No country's population is actually 'endless' because then we would number infinity - and - not everybody in any population is even capable of 'walking' past you or anywhere. Other countries don't have a rule on how many kids people can have, so their populations grow more…

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Did you know- the rarest coffee in the world is Kopi Kuwak, which is found in Indonesia. It costs about $300 a pound.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: You might not even want to pay one lousy cent if you knew how it's made. Kopi Luwak, (not Kuwak) Aka civet coffee is made from the pits of coffee beans that have passed through and been pooped out the system of a civet, a type of weasel. Still sound good?

Not to me. I get a gagging reflex just thinking about it - what idiot first thought it would be cool to go sifting around some animal's poop to harvest coffee beans and then brew it up for human consumption?

Nevermind the whole freaking animal welfare controversy surrounding farm-raising civets for bean production. I don't buy the whole "They're force-feeding and keeping them in tiny cages" crap since these types of groups say that about any farm, including well-run ones. But IMO, coffee that's been run through some animal's digestive system and anywhere near feces is definitely not worth even trying. Just *shudder* ugh, ewe, gross! And even if there were civets world wide, chowing down and pooping out enough beans to supply coffee for the next ten years, I'm pretty sure this coffee would remain rare simply beause not enough people would want it to matter.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Maths Magic: Just try it. 259 x your Age x 39=? You will get an interesting result.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah, yeah, try that every year, tweaking your big numbers accordingly and it always comes out like that. blah blah blah. This trick got old very fast.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Deep breathing gives you health benefits similar to aerobaics.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: You know what? Breathing generally gives you health benefits, and aerobics doesn't benefit everyone… And I can think of some situations where if you tried deep breathing, you'd get a lot sicker.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Lamborghini cars were created because the Lamborghini tractor company was insuled by the founder of Ferrari.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Okay, this one's somewhat true.

From Wikipedia: "When Lamborghini discovered that the clutch on his Ferrari was broken, and actually was the same clutch that he used on his tractors, Lamborghini went to Ferrari and asked for a better replacement. Ferrari responded, saying that he was just a tractor maker, and could not know anything about sports cars. Lamborghini decided to pursue an automobile manufacturing venture with the goal of bringing to life his vision of a perfect grand tourer."

Though considering his history, I still believe the line of cars would've come anyway, with or without Ferrari's butting in with their big mouth. You don't just suddenly get a burning desire to create something just because someone else calls you a nobody. The desire and dream to make something special would have to be there and be strong enough to make it happen.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: There is a temple in Sri Lanka dedicated to the tooth of Buddha.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So there is. What's it to you? What's it to me?

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: It takes six months to build a Rolls Royce and only 13 hours to build a Toyota.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Bollox! To start with, there are all different kinds of Toyota vehicles, and they're not all made by one factory in one part of the world. Neither are the rolls royces. Second, how long it takes to build either one depends on stuff like how long it takes for the materials from the various suppliers to get to the factories that make them into car parts. then there's the issue of availability of the materials VS. the demand, and a lot of other stuff.

What you're basically trying to say is that rolls Royce is da bomb and Toyota is assembly-line cheap crap, and that's bull.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: The human mind is 10 times creative at night than it is in the morning or afternoon.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Can the arbitrary ratios business. You don't know for sure that it is ten times more creative. Obviously our minds don't go to sleep when we do, that's why we dream. And yes, dreams can and do contribute to daytime creativity… 'Nuff said, 'nuff needed…

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: A one minute kiss burns about 26 calories.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *Grimace* so… You're one of those calorie-counting, extended kissing creeps. Eww, go away! I mean really… You time your kisses. You somehow hook yourself up to some gismo that gages how many calories you burn with every move? How sickly romantic is that?

I don't care about calorie counts. I don't like kissing. So, I don't care or believe your claim.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Space dust tastes like raspberries and smells like rum.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Now that's just stupid. You generally taste what you smell, and space dust is still dust. There's no fruit essence in it whatsoever. So unless some astronaut can back this up in person and explain that being in space messes with one's tastebuds the same way being in z gravity effects movement, I'm not buying it. You could try to collect a bunch of space dust, bring it down to earth, and I'm pretty sure nobody would mistake it for raspberry rum.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Albert Einstein said that if the honey bees were to suddenly disappear from Earth, we would seen an apocalypse within 4 years.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong!

Besides, there are many other pollinators, so if even one species went, there would be plenty others to take its place. and there is no shortage of bees around here in the summer. Oh, and besides beekeepers in europe panicking over their industry being threatened by imported honey, this silly quote was used by Bill Maher. Need I say more?

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: A Rubik's Cube has 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible configurations.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So - what? Why does that matter? I don't know if your big number is actually right and I don't care. I know a Rubik's cube has many many many ways it can go. That's why it's so hard to solve. Next?

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: It takes approximately 20 minutes for your brain to know that your stomach is full.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Uh, no! I once ate something that tasted too good to resist, but was altogether too spicy hot. so, I had to tank down a ridiculous amount of liquid to keep from combusting from the inside. The result was feeling full within about 5, 10 minutes at the max.

Anyway, barring that particler situation, you sit and eat a meal normally, that takes about 20 mins, when you are actually only just full, and you know it right away. So there goes that idea of yours, shot to heck.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: The sound made by Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is so loud that it can be heard 40 miles away.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well if it's a giant waterfall, small wonder… Then if you get very little noise in the general area besides, maybe the wind factor, and yes, sound travels amazing distances...

* * *

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: You'd lose your voice. Seriously now, yelling for that long without a break is completely impossible, so why even make up a silly stat about it?

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Since when does a lot of sound = heat?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards:Hardly seems worth it.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: No kidding. But really, the heat that comes from us isn't because of the sound waves anyway, it's because we're warm-blooded.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months,

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Good gosh, could you possibly get any more ridiculous? If you could do that, you'd be declared a health hazard. You'd die long before that point, though, or you'd have to be a huge gas planet and not a human to pull that off.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Forget that fantasy, the stench would be enough to kill everybody.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So why aren't artery-bleeds reported as having a thirty-foot radius?

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah right, TMI - if someone who raises pigs feels it's necessary to mention their observation on that point, I'll take their word for it, not yours.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Longer, actually! *Shudder* Ewwwwww! I didn't need to know that. Ugh! *Skincrawl*

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: Creepy.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah right, who cares? Who would even try for an hour anyway? Only someone intent on damaging their brain.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Same deal as with the cockroaches managing to survive for a time without their heads, and yes I've seen nature shows where the female mantis eats her mate. Some spiders do the same. Nature is full of things that most of us would find absolutely bizarre.

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: (Honey, I'm home. What the...?)

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Lol!

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: The flea can jump 350 times its body length.. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well everybody knows that. Duh. Basically. Maybe not the exact stats you claim here, but it's pretty much common knowledge that fleas can like really jump.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: (What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Some lions mate over 50 times a day.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: I knew that. Well, again, not the exact stat, but you learn stuff like that when you have an interest in wildlife and general animal behaviour.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Butterflies taste with their feet.

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: Something I always wanted to know.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah, I sorta knew that too. An insect's system is totally different from ours.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: No, it's the thigh muscle.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: that's a crock of bull.

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: False. There are other animals that can't jump, earthworms, snails, most snakes and turtles. I'm not sure you're even right about the elephant itself.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: A cat's urine glows under a black light.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Where did you get or come up with this ridiculous and useless idea?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: I wonder who was paid to figure that out

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: I know some people like that.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Starfish have no brains

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Neither do amebas. So?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: I know some people like that too.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Polar bears are left-handed.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: And you actually conducted extensive tests on every polar bear? Huh, didn't think so. Either way, why is it so important to you?

🤷🏿‍♂️Phil Edwards: If they switch, they'll live a lot longer

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: lol!

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Not true. You might want to look up the bonobo chimp.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: Scroll down for answers

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: No need, and there are no answers that follow, only this statement from the meme, which is false anyway:

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE TRUE......

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: True examples of ridiculous lies passed off as truth in trivia memes! all but three at the most, are untrue.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: They are all TRUE....

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: True examples of mostly false statements, with precious few truths scattered throughout, just enough so one can't say "This chain is 100% bollox!" The vast majority is bollox, so a very good reason not to let oneself be amazed and pass such memes along.

👩🏻‍🏫Meme1: Now go back and think about #16!!!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: if you were hoping to freak me out with this attempted gross-out, you failed. it simply isn't true, and makes no sense.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: Now that you've smiled at least once,

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: The only times I smiled during this read was when laughing at a couple of comments from Phil Edwards. Your chain letter failed to get that kind of reaction from me.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: it's your turn to spread these crazy facts

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: While some are facts, many others aren't, and I'm not impressed by a bunch of random crazies.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to, maybe even a chuckle.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Nope. When I want to make someone smile, I'll send them something I personally wrote, or a link to something I'm fairly certain would interest them. This meme stops here.

👩🏾‍🏫Meme4: In other words, send it to everyone!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: In other words, spam it! Nothing doing!

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Please delete details of all previous senders (including mine) before forwarding again to reduce spam, viruses & identity theft.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: You may be able to avoid viruses and ID theft that way, but you don't reduce spam by sending these forwards! You're still contributing to it.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Its best to use the Bcc field while forwarding mails."

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *Rolling eyes* Advice taken from that same meme with the supposed internet chat horror story.

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: "Life is wonderful if we live the simple principles that we have been taught and if we live the way that we know we should live."

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *Sigh* Okay, so who actually said that?

👨🏼‍🏫Meme3: Consider the environment. Please don't print this email unless you really need to. Thanks!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *Rolling eyes* Environmentalists. Chain addicts. *Facepalm*

There, mangled!

Over and out.
