Youtube Bob, whatever this horrid chain creature, is on the warpath against Google since Google Plus has forced Youtubers to change their Youtube names to Google Plus names in late 2013..
Adding one more annoyance on top of another, really, bad idea, people!

KnowYourMeme couldn't trace Bob's origin, other than he started on Youtube and eventually spread to Facebook as well. What I don't like about the KnowYourMeme article is that it hasn't been updated to reflect the 2013 Youtube Bob infestation, going as far as to actually lament that Bob could rarely be seen if at all any more.
At MTM, we do not lament the dying of a meme, we rejoice in it. And we head desk and face palm whenever an old meme gets raised from seeming cyber-death.
Yes, here's the kicker.
Youtube Bob is not even a new meme. He started way back in 2009!
