The idea for Elf On A Shelf was to encourage little kids to be on their best behaviour just before Christmas.
But did anyone ever think there might be a need to keep elves in check? Because elves can be naughty too.
Some elves, who are meant to keep tabs on children, find ways to take advantage of the trust Santa and other adults put in them. Some even use belief VS. disbelief to their advantage for amusing themselves. And that's just for openers.
Elves can take trouble to and beyond the naughty list. Naughty, and much worse.
