That nose isn't pointy enough to be purebred poodle - and that coat isn't right either.
But I still want to know what happened to Missy and why they had to get another poodle in the first place. And how many Rescue people go to a BREEDER to get a dog??? That is just disgusting if you ask me!
If you are taking in all of these dogs, why does one need to go to a breeder? Is having a certain breed of dog just to say you have a poodle that important? I mean, when you have 10+ personal dogs, what the hell difference does it make to have a poodle?
It is just all so very strange, don't you think????

Getting a poodle from a breeder is one thing, but paying money for a mutt is just reprehensible. Whatever happened to "Don't breed or buy while those at Stinky's die?"
Missy has not been seen in a very long time. Clearly, IMO, something has happened to her and that is why Poodie was purchased as a replacement. This could all be cleared up if we could see a photograph of Missy and Poodie together. And I do mean MISSY and Poodie, not Poodie and Zelda the other white poodle that was adopted out a while ago.

every poodle rescue site i find has nothing but old mill dogs and mutts... and you saying people shouldnt pay for mutts is a condridiction... rescues sell nothing butt mutts 95% of the time. so basically what you are saying is rescue is ripping people off... which they are ... IMO $200 for a lab mix is a rip off even if it is vetted.

Excuse me, but REPUTABLE rescues do not SELL dogs. They charge adoption fees to help cover their expenses. Brokers like Stinky and Joannie sell dogs and rip people off. You really are clueless, aren't you, sweetie?

adoption fee is just a cover for sell price. if money exchnges hands for an animal it is called selling. Go take an economics class then make you will figure it out

But she already had another poodle(Zelda)when she brought poodie from a breeder so just having a poodle was "not" her mission.
I don't care who breeds dog and who buys dogs but if someone is on the internet claiming be be a retirement sanctuary then it is a double standard to buy a puppy. Profile of a hoarder.
Anyone that knows old dogs knows that they don't have the patience for pups or young dogs. Mixing old and young dogs is like putting a 10 yr old boy in a nursing home...
