On October 2, 2002, Trevor Luxton, a 22-year-old banking clerk at the firm Credit Lyonnais, used his work computer to send a lying and disgusting email out to 5 friends. It went viral.

Then I find my self sitting in the arm chair with a beer in one hand remote in the other, West ham on the box

Luxton was suspended with pay, and he resigned a few weeks later.
He was eventually dumped by his then fiancee, and admitted that whole email was a lie.
