"First, she had her own little sister killed, and another girl took the fall for it and subsequently committed suicide!"
Thande winced involuntarily, his crest rising.
Bez looked up at him then back at Tonya, the disgust on her face distorting her features. There was a soft click as she turned up the intensity of her Burner.
Matrix continued to study Tonya impassively.
Sigma shook her head, appalled.
"What!?" NT exclaimed. "You sick shart!"
"As if, can you believe this stupid little dwarf!?" Tonya squealed indignantly, rolling her eyes at Ameh, trying to put on an act of innocence.
"Oh, if that's the best you can do for an insult, Tonya, give it up." Ameh scoffed.
Tonya made a disgusted face and gave Ameh the middle finger. "I don't think all of your friends would agree, anyway, as I said, Tonya no longer exists."
Ameh continued. "The girl who took the fall for you was Virginia Becher, Remember her? She also had a little sister, Melissa Kingnuk Becher, who remembers the day her big sister was accused of the killing by her own parents, and kicked out of the house. It's all here, including a recent statement from Melissa."
"Oh, that Melissa was a real annoying little retard with her silly fantasies." Tonya snorted.
"Not her fantasy, yours." Ameh corrected. "Melissa wants nothing to do with her parents, who have been convicted of other things, but it was through her and official records about her and you that we found out about what you and her parents did to your own sister, to Virginia and how it all effected Melissa. You ran away shortly after your sister's death, because you were disgusted about your parents grief, and/or maybe it was just because you had been coddled and spoiled absolutely rotten, and you wanted to teach them a lesson."
"Oh, really, and what was my little sister's name?" Tonya challenged.
"Cassandra Brylee, which is the same middle name as you have. Cassandra and Tonya Brylee Harper, your middle name was for your father Bryan, and your mother Lee-Anne."
Tonya couldn't hide her amazement, she just gaped. How in the world did Ameh get that information?
"Your parents were lead to believe you had been killed. They held a funeral for you not long after Cassie's. Did you get a laugh watching that while magically invisible on the sideline?"
"So what if I did, you couldn't prove that and all they ever cared about was little that stupid little weakling Cassie!"
Bez fired her weapon, purposely missing Tonya by centimeters. "Keep talking. The next shot's your head."
"Yes, OMG! she is really beyond despicable!" exclaimed NT, the others who had been researching Tonya's background, hadn't yet let her in on everything they found out.
"Shut up, NT!" Tonya barked, scooting away from the smoldering patch of floor a breath away from her.
NT did shut up, and shudder, but not because Tonya told her to.
Ameh continued. "They eventually split and married other people, but your father died in a construction site accident. Your mother, we were not able to relocate. So that's two families you wrecked."
"Don't put it all on me, it isn't my fault Melissa's a head-case and her parents were extremists who disowned one of their kids and caused her to kill herself!"
"After you destroyed your own family, the next one to take you in were the Parkers. They gave you up after you falsely accused them of abuse. Did they get too close to the truth of finding out who you actually were, and that you were really not dead? Were they going to try returning you to your real parents? Is that why you had to cook up a phony abuse tale to get out of their custody before you were found out and dragged back home kicking and screaming?"
"And she called me a nauseating, spoiled brat." NT interjected, rolling her eyes.
Ameh continued to expose Tonya. "You did the same thing to the Bruces, only you accused them of abusing their youngest child when it was really you who had done it. How you got away with this shart for so long? Magic. You magicked up video evidence to cover your tracks. Pippi managed to get her hands on those videos, I restored them and we found out their real images. You had taped this abuse, then made sure to use your magic to make it look like you had captured other people during its commission."
Tonya cussed Ameh out.
Nick looked shocked. "I had no idea! She told me she had been given up by her dad, that her mom had committed suicide, that she was on the streets by the time she was 12, that some cops had abused her, that she was in and out of all kinds of abusive foster and group homes. She also told me that NT and Isabelle reminded her of one of her abusers because of their dark hair and because they were short. She tried feeding Indy this 'I was so mistreated' stuff too. But I don't think Indy cared or believed her."
"Turning on her now won't get you in good with us!" NT responded to Nick in an ice cold tone.
Sigma shuddered, turning once again to Nick. "You've made your bed, creep." She smacked him sharply on the back of the head with her Burner. "And now you've got to sleep in it."
Ameh returned the smile and couldn't help chuckling out loud at this.
"Yeah," Tonya said to him, "Me or them, you can't have it both ways!"
"Neither can you," Nick retorted. "Me, or Indy."
"Oh, but you think you can get away with having both me and Isabelle?" Tonya flung back.
Nick was silent.
Tonya continued to rage. "You think I wanted you because you were such a great catch?" she spat scornfully, "Think again! You had something I wanted - more magic power! I wanted you for that! I knew I hadn't a freaking snowball's chance of getting it and you to myself as long as that little wench NT was your friend, and it was tremendously satisfying knowing I got you to ditch her for me!"
"Then I was right about you all along." NT said to Tonya. Turning to Nick, "So how's it feel getting beaten at your own game?"
Tonya wasn't through yet. Casting a dirty look at Nick, she ranted, "You were pathetic to ever think SHE (pointing at NT) could be your girlfriend anyway, what a cradle-robber!"
"That's the only intelligent thing I've ever heard from you, Tonya." said NT.
"Drop dead!" Tonya bellowed, giving NT the death stare.
"I'll see you both tossed in the slammer first!" said NT sharply.
Nick sent her a hurt look.
She turned her back.
"Now do you believe me that NT isn't jealous of you?" Nick said acidly to Tonya.
"Shut up you worthless stupid weakling!" Tonya screamed.
"You had it all your own way long enough, you're as weird about Indy as Isabelle is about Treize!"
"Ewww!" NT made a horrible face in disgust.
"All I ever wanted!?" Tonya squealed in disbelief. "Hardly!" she spat. "She didn't die in a blaze of shame and you're still not over her!" Tonya raged, pointing at NT and glaring at Nick. "Don't you ever compare me to her or that subhuman freakzoid Isabelle again!"
"Oh, this is rich, watching you two backpedal over each other!" Ameh laughed, then continued dressing Tonya down.
"There are numerous accounts of bullying and conniving behavior from you all throughout your school years, which lasted much longer than they should have, because you moved around, changed your identity and passed yourself off as a highschool student right up until you and Isabelle moved into the townhouse and shared the rent with Indy and a few others. Some of this bullying included what you and Miranda did to NT for months, you, because you desperately wanted Nick all to yourself, and Miranda, because she was NT's half-sister and she wanted NT destroyed."
"So why aren't you going after Miranda?" Tonya challenged. "That flake was the most obnoxious, airheaded, clingy, pathetic - "
"Funny, she once said exactly the same thing about you." said Ameh, and continued on. "So you two got together and you magicked up a fake double of her and had her do all kinds of things, nearly getting the real NT arrested for them. Online, you waged a monumental hate campaign against NT, including posting on fake journals you created, and message forums, pretending to be NT. You didn't just post spam and trolling in her name, you posted that you were willing to hire someone to kill NT's mother, Ariel Dawson - in NT's name."
"She did WHAT!? NT exclaimed, lunging at Tonya. "You and Miranda were going to kill my mom and blame it on me!? You sick - " and NT continued screaming as she hit and punched Tonya out.
Tonya fought back.
Nick tried to get between them, but he only got hit, kicked and scratched as the two girls went at it.
This was the scene Capri and Pippi returned to, along with three extras, they were NT's mom, Ariel, and two friends of Pippi's and Indy's. Misery Chastain, and Heidi.
It took Pippi and Capri to separate Tonya and NT. Ariel took the sobbing NT aside to comfort her while Ameh explained to Capri how far she got with revealing what they all had on Tonya and Nick.
Capri noticed Tonya's appearance, and over-rode it with magic of her own. The fake Indy was once again, back to being Tonya.
"The real Indy is not dead," Pippi announced, smiling. "Capri removed the spell Tonya had cast to make everyone think she had died."
