"My Seven Links" now "Eleven Things" Notice the numbers? Numerology again.
The Eleven Things chain was answered and sort of semi-mangled on this blog, it wasn't followed to the letter, and she said she'd done the first couple of steps but had no intention of carrying out the rest, and I say good job there! I also like what she said about the Da Vinci Code. That book, along with others I won't mention in this chain-mangle, are in some ways, worse than Twilight. Twilight sends a really bad message to young girls and its popularity is rather confounding. But the one thing it has going for it is that it clearly represents itself for what it is, fiction. It doesn't masquerade as truth like the Da Vinci code and other anti-Christian and pro-left-wing agenda books do.
Now, to the mangle of the eleven Things blog chain. The questions vary from blog to blog because the meme tells you not only to answer questions from the blogger who 'tagged' you, but to make up your own questions and send them on 'tag' 11 other bloggers.
So I have a feeling I'll be mangling various versions of the Eleven Things for some time.

🧝♀️Ocean Elf: *Shudder* Ugh! No, not that, I mean, I wouldn't change my name to Ugh! That was just a reaction to the idea. The answer depends on the circumstances. For instance, if I was going into witness protection and had to change my identity, I could still use a name I liked, unless they arbitrarily assign them to you, I'm not exactly sure how it goes. If I was becoming a citizen of a different nation where I would have to pick a name to go along with it (you know how immigrants in the past sometimes did this( I would have to pick a name from that nationality I liked, if there were any. If not, probably I would be assigned one, and if I didn't like it, man would that stink!
So, I have no idea what I'd change my name to if I was forced to do it.

🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, dang, you just had to ask? I can't give a mangle answer this time because I get to put in a good word about someone who is very dear to me. She was the teacher who showed me there really was such thing as a teacher who cared even when she had to be firm, and wasn't there to give out orders and punishments, and didn't lose patience with me even when I lost patience with myself and no doubt put hers to the test. She is one of these people who impacted my life into adulthood, for the better, and we stay in touch even now.

2. I don't encourage anyone to participate in viral schemes.
3. I don't consider "http://Chainmanglers.pbworks.com/So+Called+Blog+Awards+Are+Just+Chain+Letters" to be real awards, only chain letters. To get an award, you have to actually do something other than write blogs.
4. I have been abandoned too many times by people who were supposed to be my friends because they'd rather go on spreading chain letters than listen to me when I discourage it - and yes, I do try to be as nice about it as I can.
5. I'm sick of being abandoned by people in favour of their wish to keep letting themselves get pushed around by chain letters.
6. I wish the blog meme craze, especially these awards would die out.
7. I will never pass on to - er, excuse me, "nominate" anyone for a so-called blog award.
8. I have seen more than 11 of the same questions repeated more than 11 times in various survey meme chain letters over the years.
9. If anyone ever inflicts a "blog award" or any sort of blog meme on me and "tags"/"nominates" me on one of my blogs, I won't kudo them or even acknowledge having received the chain on that blog. I will mangle it on Chain manglers instead.
10. One of the quickest ways to make me lose interest in a blog is to post memes and too many quotes from movies, TV shows, celebrities and other famous people, or song lyrics.
11. If you replicate chain letters on your blog and I come across them, I will be annoyed, but you'll never know it unless you happen across it in one of my mangles, and even then you won't know if it was you or somebody else who inflicted the chain on my computer screen, because I won't name names as a rule, unless it is to point out where a meme originates from. I'll give that info if possible.
