For anyone who wants to know what went down in August 2016, Annaliese Nielsen (real name Lara D) got into a Lyft, and harassed the driver over a Hawaiian hula doll on his dashboard. She videoed it, but only sent a malicious complaint to Lyft with accusations against the driver. She did not send the company the video. Her intent was to get him sacked, then she was going to spread the video all over the internet. Yes, she wanted to spread a particularly bad meme. Unfortunately, she got her way as the driver was temporarily fired. During that time, the video got away on Annaliese, and eventually was reported to Lyft. They then did the right thing by hiring the driver back in the end.
