Did you ever get some viral via email, FB status, tweet etc. claiming a celebrity died? Did it upset you?
Chances are it may not be true, so before you break out the tissues, stop a moment and check out google, search "Celeb death hoax" and you're sure to find results showing if the story you received was bogus or real. also, check out newspapers and TV. They'll have the real scoop if the celeb in question actually did die.
The so-called news looks like this:
🤥💩"Actor Justin.Bieber Dies In Queensland Australia Car Crash"
Well, that's not all. Apparently Justin Bieber has died many times in various accidents around the world.
"Olympian Justin.Bieber Dies in Car Crash"
"Actor Justin.Bieber Dies In Snowboard Accident"
"Actor Justin.Bieber dies following Jet-Ski crash"
"Musician - Justin.Bieber dies following Jet-Ski crash"
"actor Justin.Bieber dies after falling from cliff in Austria"
"Actor Justin.Bieber hospitalized after traffic altercation"
"Luxury yacht sinks off coast of St. Tropez France Actor Justin.Bieber reported missing"
"Actor Justin.Bieber missing in Congo Rainforest"
🧝♀️And he's by far not the only one to die in these accidents, many other celebs die the same way at the very same locales at the same times etc.
Examples:
🤥💩"Actor - Eddie Murphy Dies In Snowboard Accident"
"Actor - Woody Harrelson Dies In Queensland Australia Car Crash"
"Actor - Adam Sandler Dies In Snowboard Accident"
"Actor - Will Smith Falls To His Death In New Zealand"
"Actor - Jaden Smith Dies In Snowboard Accident"
"Pro golfer Tiger Woods found dead at Dominican Republic resort"
"Actor - Dwayne Johnson Falls To His Death In New Zealand"
"David Guetta Dies In Car Crash"
"Dj Tiesto Dies In Car Crash"
🧝♀️That's right, folks, none of these people are dead.
So who's behind these stupid celeb death hoaxes?
At least one culprit is the troll site Global Associated News AKA FakeAWish.com
It is so easy to generate hoax stories on FakeAWish.com/MediaFetcher.com.
They have several story templates that are generated depending on which one you choose and whose name you put for the subject of the hoax.
Their twitter is
twitter.com/fakeawish
Their Twitter activity is typically what you'd see from hoaxers, crowing gleefully about their junk going viral, promoting their site, bragging about getting interviewed on TV and radio, and a particularly horrendous application for pranking your friends on FB with your own or maybe their fake obit from the look of it.
*Scowl*
these losers get their kicks spreading celebrity death hoaxes and other such garbage. What a gargantuan waste of technology and space on the internet.
Their Twitter activity, last I checked, I'm sure they've tweeted much more since...

🧝♀️Ocean Elf: There is a little option near the top of their rotten page for "Disable Name" which supposedly gets the celeb's name you want removed.
fakeawish.com/remove.php
Supposedly, but…
Let's look at this stinking page and mangle it.
🤥💩FakeAWish: CELEBRITY FAKE NEWS HOAX GENERATOR
FAKEAWISH.COM - PUNKING MASS MEDIA SINCE 2002
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: You call it 'punking' I call it lying.
🤥💩FakeAWish: Celebrities... want to block your name from working on the FakeAWish.com sites?
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: I'm not a celeb, but I'd like your stinking site taken down, yanked and buried in your pile of shameful trash.
🤥💩FakeAWish: Believe it or not, we have never received a celebrity name removal request!
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: That's because your demands and conditions are so ludicrous and no one wants to sell their soul to the devil just to get a better singing voice… There's a huge catch with you low-lifes, and you sure as heck don't deserve to get phone numbers, addresses etc. from celebs just for removing their names. especially after you've lied your lousy butts off about them, upsetting fans, encouraging trolls, and starting chain letters. You are just a den of trolling hoaxers.
🤥💩FakeAWish: If you are a celebrity or the business manager for celebrity and wish to have a name blocked from working on the site,
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: right, forget all the fans you upset or offend with your death wish crap. Because only the celebrities and those in close association count with you. Your attempt at getting close to the stars via this sleazy method and web site is awful beyond description.
🤥💩FakeAWish: please follow the instructions below.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: The magic word is completely powerless when invoked by the likes of you…
🤥💩FakeAWish: Submit the following:
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: no.
🤥💩FakeAWish: 1 - your name
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: None of your blasted business.
🤥💩FakeAWish: 2 - celebrity name
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Every last one of them, stupid!
🤥💩FakeAWish: 3 - your contact phone & email
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Not ruddy likely!
🤥💩FakeAWish: 4 - relationship the the celebrity
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: None of your freakin' business. Even if I had associations with a celebrity, I sure as heck wouldn't help you get an in…
🤥💩FakeAWish: 5 - submit the information via this contact form
🧝♀️Ocean Elf:Nope. Smashed.
🤥💩FakeAWish: URGENT... do not submit false removal requests.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: *Rolling eyes* Say the hypocritical moron squad in charge of this filthy lie-packed web site! What is this, "Do what I say, not what I do?" Cretins.
🤥💩FakeAWish: Some celebrities actually ask that we spread death rumors on their behalf for the purpose of free press and media coverage.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: *Guffaw* Oh, that's a hot one, you expect me to believe that crap? Especially considering everything else on your suckish site is false? Oh, come on, give the rest of the human race a little more credit than that.
🤥💩FakeAWish: While you might think you are doing them a favor, in some cases you will be damaging their media and promotions campaigns
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: That has got to be the lamest, stupidest poor excuse in defence of this idiocy I've ever seen! It's even worse than the "It's all just a joke, just for fun!" whinge trolls are always pulling when somebody has the guts to put them in their place.
Adding to the lameness of this big lie is your collective huge ego! You really have deluded your pathetic no-life selves into the belief that any celebrity would be in trouble and at risk of obscurity without your sucky hoaxes? If any celebrity is really that desperate for the limelight that they'd turn to the likes of you for help, they can just do the world a favour and fade out.
🤥💩FakeAWish: Fakeawish.com fake news story templates never involve drugs or alcohol, or anything that could reflect poorly on ones character, etc.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: You forgot one very important item, they also don't involve truth! Without that, your stories are still trash. One person who believes in any of them is too many.
🤥💩FakeAWish: They are all absurd circumstances involving an accident that is of no fault of the victim by way of intoxication, hatred, or anything slanderous.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: That doesn't make your stories stink any less. Death hoaxes are still upsetting when real people are named in them, and other real people are pranked and lead to believe in them… Don't try to excuse your trash with a "This is the trash-light kind, it doesn't stink as bad as the next guy's."
🤥💩FakeAWish: Dispelling a rumor is typically as simple as tweeting to fans, or smiling for the cameras when the mainstream media comes calling to see if you are ok. In many cases is is a fantastic free press opportunity - to not only dispel rumors that you are not dead... but to plug current projects, appearances, etc.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Celebs have been smiling at the camera and plugging their stuff long before your sleazy rumor-monging site came into its disgusting existence. All you are doing is adding more annoyance and unnecessary work to the load the tabloids are already dishing out. Celebrities definitely don't need you, and I'll wager that most if not all of them don't want you either!
🤥💩FakeAWish: If you still want to have your name blocked on the site, please allow up to 48 hours after the removal request credentials can be validated.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Demanding truthfulness from others is more than a bit hypocritical and stupid on your part, drongoes!
🤥💩FakeAWish: All contact information will be kept strictly confidential.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Oh yeah, I'll just bet they will. Anyone who submits their 'credentials' to you can expect to see hoaxes about themselves floating around the internet along with tons of spam mail landing in their inboxes.
🤥💩FakeAWish: about this web site. All stories / articles are dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and are not factual.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: which is why so many hoaxes spawned by this site have celebs dying the exact same death in the exact same circumstances… It also explains why there are so many of these hoaxes polluting the internet. Too many to keep track of and individually smash.
🤥💩FakeAWish: Any reference to specific individuals has been 100% fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah, as I said, encouraging trolls to perpetuate celeb death hoaxes. But they couldn't do it without your help, you schmucks are still the non-brains behind this whole stink ing thing, so don't give me any more dumb excuses.
🤥💩FakeAWish: We do not store or archive any names or visitor information on our servers
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Then why the name removal link? Never-mind, that's all a pathetic info-gathering joke of a scheme too.
🤥💩FakeAWish: and do not have a database associated with this website - it's just a series of flat html files using a domain name / DNS trick.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Well learn a new trick and get rid of the site in favour of something that's actually real entertainment or at least a bit useful and interesting, and honest.
That's it, I'm out of here. *Shakes something disgustedly off shoe and leaves abruptly*
