The bogus ST. Jude Meme

--

🤥Meme: With Love All Things Are Possible

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah, right, that's why there's still so much hate and suffering in the world that love just can't possibly heal.

🤥Meme: This paper has been sent to you for Luck. The original is in New England. It has been sent around the world. The Luck has been sent to you.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wrong. "Original copy" of this chain letter, what an oxymoron. The dumb thing could've come from anywhere. But luck doesn't come in the form of this chain letter.

🤥Meme: You will receive good luck within 4 days of receiving this letter pending in turn you send it on.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Hornswoggle. There is nothing it can do to make good luck happen for me in four days. It could give me bad luck if I was stupid enough to pass it along and annoy a bunch of people, and lower my IQ, reputation and dignity, so I'll be smart and not send it on to anyone. It'll lie mangled right here.

🤥Meme: This is no joke.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: It might not be a joke in the ha-ha sense, unless looking at it from the originator's point of view. It isn't exactly a knee-slapper and hasn't gotten a grin out of me yet. No joke? Maybe not. But it's still a pack of lies.

🤥Meme: You will receive good luck in the mail. Send no money. Send copies to people you think need good luck. Do not send money cause faith has no price.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Actually no, this meme won't send me good luck in the mail. There is also no price if I refuse to send it on any further.

There is however, a price you pay for passing it on as if you actually believe in it. The price is that you get to annoy people, waste bandwidth if sending via the internet, waste the services and a little money if sending it via snailmail, because postage fees would still apply, DUH! On top of all that, sending it to other people makes you look like a gullible jerk.

🤥Meme: Do not keep this letter. It must leave your hands within 96 hrs.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, right, the 96 hours thang, like in this pile of equally bogus memes:

Special Occasion Tantra

Lotus Totus Tantra

Dead Reckoning Jenny.

Tough darts. This thing is being torn to pieces.

🤥Meme: An ARP officer Joe Elliot received $40,000,000.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: And I'm supposed to believe or even care? No amount of phony tale-telling is going to get me forwarding this dreck like a fool.

🤥Meme: George Welch lost his wife 5 days after this letter. He failed to circulate the letter. However before her death he received $7,775,000.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: So what's the money or the death got to do with this silly letter? I'll tell you what, nothing. If you believe not passing on a chain letter causes death, you might as well believe that everything under the sun also causes death as well. It rained today, somebody died, therefore, rain must be deadly, gotta put a stop to it! Oh my, the sun shone today, and somebody died, we must stop the sun from shining, it's absolutely lethal! By gosh, this letter caused George's wife to die, we must pass it along, save our own gullible necks and kill more people! Yeah, sure, makes perfect sense...NOT!

🤥Meme: Please send copies and see what happens after 4 days.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Uh, NO! Whatever happens in four days will have nothing to do with this letter, whether I pass it on or not.

🤥Meme: The chain comes from Venezula and was written by Saul Anthony Degnas, a missionary from S America. Since that copy must tour the World.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah right, as if some missionary has nothing better to do than send dumb chain letters, what bogus crap. As for touring the world, it has probably already done so, many times over. It would've been better if it hadn't even once.

🤥Meme: You must make 20 copies and send them to friends and associates after a few days you will get a surprise.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Here's a surprise for you! Your chain letter was not received with loving, believing, open arms here. The only thing I MUST do is refuse to pass it along to anyone else. What I choose to do is smash it to bits. Need I remind you again that similar and equally untrue claims in your meme are also found in:

Special Occasion Tantra

Lotus Totus Tantra

Dead Reckoning Jenny?

🤥Meme: This is love even if you are not superstitious.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Bull. But if this is what you call love, and you say all things are possible with love, than that explains a lot about why love, certainly your version of it, hasn't done a thing for the world and never will.

🤥Meme: Do Note the following: Contonare Dias received this letter in 1903. He asked his Sec'y to make copies and send them out. A few days later he won a lottery of 20 million dollars.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: You're putting me to sleep, and these phony stories don't even make good bedtime reading.

🤥Meme: Carl Dobbit, an office employee received the letter + forgot it had to leave his hands within 96 hrs. He lost his job. After finding the letter again he made copies and mailed 20 copies. A few days later he got a better job.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: And the planet Mars is actually a giant cherry! Yes, this is my way of telling you these stories are bull.

🤥Meme: Dolan Fairchild received the letter and not believing he threw it away. 9 days later he died.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, whatever happened to the four-day limit? You can't even keep that straight.

🤥Meme: In 1987 the letter was received by a young woman in Calif. It was faded and hardly readable. She promised her self she would retype the letter and send it on but, she put it aside to do later. She was plagued with various problems, including expensive car problems. This letter did not leave her hands in 96 hrs. She finally typed the letter as promised and got a new car.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yeah right, and the car fell in love with the neighbor's truck and they ran away and eloped. B...S...B...S...B...S...

🤥Meme: Remember send no money. Do not ignor this - it works.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: I wouldn't send you money even if it meant I'd get sent a million bucks for doing so. You said not to ignore this chain, but you didn't know what you were getting into with me. *SMASH!*

🤥Meme: St Jude

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: The only way this thing works is to fool simple-minded, extremely psychologically vulnerable people into passing it along, and annoying the crap out of anyone else who is well-rounded with beliefs that are grounded in common sense. You are not ST. Jude. ST. Jude didn't get to be a saint by passing on chain letters, something he never would've done!

Over and out!
