Great reasons to not spread that chain letter!
I thank Sharon for going that extra mile in checking these out and setting the record straight. Not nearly enough people on the non-left seem to do that, mostly they just spread the memes, to my irritation and chagrin.
The left also spreads memes, but they just aren't discussed much, and not nearly enough of them are fact-checked on sites that are supposed to be doing that. They are also spread through the mainstream media, which is supposed to be non-partisan, unbiased, and objective. If the news media wasn't still often regarded as real news and info, it might be laughable. But it just isn't even funny.
For example, Trump didn't actually say people should drink bleach to get rid of covid19, or support that idea. Whatever he might've said in jest got taken out of context, and the lefty publications and media just ran with it, turning it into a pile of Trump-bashing.
