Does that sound mixed up to you?
It gets worse.
Not sure what a hadith is beyond it having to do with islam.
👳♂️🤥Meme: Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: ‘When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Eww! Gross!
Apparently the one behind the hoax hadith is called Dāwūd aṭ-Tafāwī Basrī.
A few Islamic clerics known as imams also say the meme hadith is bogus, and wrongly attributed.
Imām Ibn al-Jawzī 's book “al-Mawdu’āt” (Fabrications), says:
So it is doubtful ṣallallāhu alayhi wasallam is behind this hadith meme.
👳♂️📖“al-Uqāylī reported this narration on the authority of Ibrāhim b. Muḥammad from ‘Amr b. Marzūq from Dāwūd Absat.
👳♂️📖"This is not an authentic ḥadīth of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam."
🧝♀️Imām Yaḥya b. Ma’īn says:
👳♂️📖"Dāwūd aṭ-Tafāwī from whom it is reported the ḥadīth of the Qur’ān is nothing (i.e. very weak"
🧝♀️Imām Ibn ‘Adī says:
👳♂️📖“Dāwūd aṭ-Tafāwī Basrī, his narrations are false, with no basis. (ad-Duafā’ al-Kabīr 2/38
🧝♀️Imām Al-Uqāylī says:
👳♂️📖"The ḥadīth of Dāwūd is false, with no basis."
🧝♀️ Apparently, another person called al-Kadīmī has made up hadith hoaxes too.
But I can't vouch for any of these statements. I only know this meme is messed up.
👳♂️🤥Meme: When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, ‘He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise ‘.
🧝♀️ Another version of the hadith goes like this.
Narrated from al-Bara’ b. ‘Aāzib (raḍhīyallāhu anhu) Narrated by Ahmad (4/362) (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:
🧕Hadith: “When the believing slave is about to depart this world and enter the Hereafter, there come down to him from heaven angels with white faces like the sun, and they sit around him as far as the eye can see. They bring with them shrouds from Paradise and perfumes from Paradise…” until he said, describing the state of the believer in the grave: “Then a voice calls out from heaven, ‘My slave has spoken the truth, so prepare for him a bed from Paradise and clothe him from Paradise, and open for him a gate to Paradise.’ Then there comes to him some of its fragrance, and his grave is made wide, as far as he can see. Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds.’ He says, ‘O Lord, hasten the Hour so that I may return to my family and my wealth.’” .
👳♂️🤥 Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, ‘I am the Qur’an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief.’
When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala’ul A’laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: ‘On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur’an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.’
🧝♀️ Or:
🧕Hadith: "I heard the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam) say: “The Qur’ān will meet its companion on the Day of Resurrection when his grave is opened for him, in the form of a pale man. It will say to him, ‘Do you recognize me?’ He will say: ‘I do not recognize you.’ It will say: ‘I am your companion the Qur’ān, who kept you thirsty on hot days and kept you awake at night.
🧝♀️ Wow. So this book gets an afterlife and confesses to making this guy tsleepless and thirsty, and calls that companionship? Uh, no thanks.
🧕Hadith: Every merchant benefits from his business and today you will benefit from your good deeds.’ He will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left, and there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, and his parents will be clothed with priceless garments the like of which have never been seen in this world. They will say: ‘Why have we been clothed with this?’ It will be said: ‘Because your son used to recite Qur’ān.’ Then it will be said to him: ‘Recite and ascend in the degrees of Paradise,’ and he will continue to ascend so long as he recites, either at a fast pace or a slow pace .”
👳♂️🤥 Please keep forwarding this ‘Hadith’ to all ….because
🧝♀️ Hahaha! An Islamic chain letter. Nope, no forwarding to anyone from here.
👳♂️🤥 Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said:
🧝♀️ Nothing is going to be taken at your word.
👳♂️🤥 ‘Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse’.
🧝♀️ In other words, re-share this chain letter! No.
👳♂️🤥 May A llah bestow this favour on all of us. AMEEN
🧝♀️ You won't get it by spreading memes.
And I don't want favor from Allah, I want favor from God. And he doesn't do chain letters either. But at least God doesn't demand horrific things as Allah does.
👳♂️🤥 Assalamu Alaikum
🧝♀️ Huh?
👳♂️🤥 We are praying that the following message in the next seven days would reach at least FIVE MILLION Muslims all over the world, Insha-Allah. Please forward this message TODAY to your friends and relatives and earn abundant Rewards from Allah Subhanahu watala.
🧝♀️ Bull!
I can't tell one hadith from another and don't believe any of them, but it is interesting to note that at least some of them made it into islamic chain letters.
Over and out.
