Why did she do it?
According to some posts at this discussion, she was bored. But of course. That a'ways seems to be the excuse for posting some of the stupidest and worst trash on the net. Pea-brained over-grown brats who can't entertain themselves, can't get any sort of a life, and are desperate for some kind of attention and a feeling of power. So they pull this kind of stupid crap. This is exactly the sort of garbage that comes right out of the internet cess pit known as 4chan.
The rant sparked outrage on parenting forums, and curiosity from sites like inquisitr.com, which ended their own post with a couple of stupid troll micro memes. One being the "basement dwelling' reference. The other being the trendy food-cop minded contempt for eating cheetos. Oh please... Kill that freaking cheetos thing already...!
Feminists have sure been back-peddling like mad, trying to tell the world this isn't feminism, but it is. As long as they keep spouting misandry and even calling themselves 'feminists' instead of 'equalists' (which is something everyone should be anyway) this ran/troll is extreme, but illustrates the sexism that makes up feminism in much the same way an over-the-top political cartoon slags a political entity or idea.

I'm going to take care of just about every angle of this whole sorry breastfeeding debate in one shot and get it out of the way early. After that point, I'm so done with the subject. It's all very much TMI. *awkwardness*
1. When it comes to breast VS. baby formula, no, I don't believe one is better than the other, certainly not morally superior so if you're hoping to get me on either bandwagon, take a hike! Anyone who has ever browbeaten another mother over this should be ashamed of themselves. Just what deity died and gave you the right to judge anyone as a bad or a better mother based on whether or not they breastfeed their children? Shut up and go away!
2. The whole dumbarse flap over whether or not to cover up or go into a private space when in public to breastfeed…
Yes, keep it hidden. You're a human being, not a dog, pig or some other animal.
And yes, I disapprove of men going topless in public, so don't expect any sympathy or support from me when you whinge about being asked to cover up or take your kid to a restroom or some other place out of view to breastfeed! There are just things that should stay out of the public eye, so along with picking your nose, scratching yourself, etc, breastfeeding is one of them.
3. Breastfeeding your child until he's older is not sex abuse and does not turn anyone on! That claim is every bit as icky as the idea of breastfeeding a child past the age of three and it's utterly stupid to boot.
It's understandable in poverty situations when there may not otherwise be enough food on the table, but when you're well enough to do, breastfeeding your kid beyond two years of age just makes her/him look a bit slow just IMO. Would you want your twelve-year-old going to school, sucking on a soother, drinking from a baby bottle, and still in diapers, especially when there is no severe delay in her mental development, and she was working and communicating at a twelve-year-old level? Wouldn't that be an embarrassment to herself and to you?
It's the same when it comes to breastfeeding past infancy. Unless you're quite impoverished, there's just no excuse for it, and the older the child is, the harder it might be to get her weaned off the breast. Best to start weaning when baby begins teething.
4. This one is especially for asses like this paragon of humanitarianism to take note of: Babies are babies! They don't get turned on when they breastfeed! They're just needing nourishment - and yes, you nimrod, baby boys need the same nutrition as baby girls, and no baby cares where it comes from! Got it!
Okay, enough of that. Moving on.
There has been a hoax story about a feminist who aborted a baby for being male. It hailed from some delightful site called injusticestories.com. *Sarcasm up full volume* I have no idea what proportion of their lovely content is for real and which are only partly true or all out hoaxes, but that one is a hoax.

The dreaded site calling itself "rationalwiki" which is also pro-atheist, is a hotbed of feminism propaganda. It's a large part of the liberal movement.
And here are manglings of a bunch of gender stereotyping crap memes. Most of these chains are biased toward women, but there are a few in there with the opposite bent, and they are all soundly mangled for the junk they are.
All of this stuff has combined to create a culture that's fixated on gender roles and assigning character traits to people based on gender rather than individual personality.
