Unjust VS. Just

Some whiny Youtube user posted a rundown of situations calling it "When women get their feelings hurt, men get fired."

True in some cases here for sure. Not so clear in others. And this drip was far more sympathetic toward the porn-shirt-wearing scientist and drunken football fanboys than he was toward the decent Christian man, whom he called the vile four-letter c-word. That's enough to make me less receptive and more likely to question anything coming from him. Add to that his turning the whole thing into a gender issue, when I'm sure in most cases if the genders had been reversed, the outcomes would be the same.

Let's start with the truly unjust sackings and disciplinary action cases.

—————

1. Christian got fired because lesbians complained.

don't give me the line that this man should've kept it to himself because the workplace is supposedly no place to share personal things. Because by the very same token, the lesbians should leave their homosexuality at the door, and same should apply to the Muslim in the next story as well.

—————

2. Muslim got somebody fired for saying the word "bacon".

So it's okay to sack Christians for being Christians, but it's not okay to say anything that might offend some Muslim - excuse me. That Muslim woman should've been fired for complaining and trying to force her religion on others by forbidding the use of the word "bacon" then. Heck, it's not even as if she had some big sign on her saying "Islamist. Watch what you say around her." This sacking was bigoted and heartless. If bacon-eaters and Christians are supposed to leave their personal preferences and religion at home, so should Muslims. Period. I'm sick of Muslims always snivelling about supposedly poor treatment and lack of consideration from us here in North America when things are far more oppressive back in the Middle East; I am sick of the PC crowd always kowtowing to them while tarring Christians as "Fundies". The far-right needs to shut up about Muslims already as well.

3. Super-hero-wannabe Melissa, with head clearly shoved up her own butt, reported someone for merely dancing on the job.

That Melissa was way out of line and off her rocker to fire you over this. If a person can't do something harmless and not indecent however quirky it might be on the job, that's a sad state of society. What kind of stupid outfit would take this kind of complaint seriously? Come on! Unless he was in some state of undress, there was no reason for this.

—————

4. What the heck? What the bleeding heck? Even I took this supposedly "offensive" statement by scientist Tim Hunt as a joke, and it was not sexual or demeaning. He sure didn't deserve the sacking and harassment over this, good gosh, world, have you gone completely mad?

Yes, women do fall in love. Yes, they do cry when criticized. I didn't say all of them do. But it is a pretty fair generalization, and the en masse buttburned reaction to this just goes to prove it even further.

And now here's where things get a little tricky.

—————

5. A pee-pee man toy? Really? You seem like a real nice guy, unfortunately this decision to use that particular toy was a poor one. I'm sorry. I'm sure you wouldn't make that mistake again and hope you get your job back or get a better one. Good luck.

—————

6. Face facts, not everybody wants to see porn, especially not on somebody's shirt.

The shirt was full of pictures of half-naked women on it.

It was a stupid thing for Rosetta scientist Matt Taylor to wear in public, but it was given to him by a girl, so that should get the feminists to shut up already.

Why anyone would choose to make, give as a gift, or wear something so provocative is beyond me. Having said that, It certainly didn't warrant a sacking, and people are making way too much of it on both sides. This includes feminists, who actually support, or do it themselves, "slut walking" going around semi or nearly nude. They scream about guys wearing porn shirts, and then they go around looking like porn stars. Hypocrites.

Matt Taylor apologized, which he shouldn't have had to do, at least, not to this extent. It gave feminists another reason to get intolerably smug, and men's rights people up in arms. It was stupid, but the guy's been punished more than enough, I'm sure he won't wear something that suggestive again. Not that anything will ever sate the feminists' lust for male dysphoria.

Boris Johnson, conservative politician, who IMO should be a liberal given his contempt toward people he labels "prudes" is seriously buttburned over the fact anyone could get offended by a porn shirt. He also compared the apology to a Stalin "show trial" another political buzzword.

Johnson, chill out. Some of us don't like that kind of stuff, and we have a right to dislike it and to express it. That sure as heck doesn't make me anything like Stalin or a Muslim extremist. This whiny tantrum makes you look like an idiot.

Contrary to what some snipes would have everyone believe, you sure as heck don't have to be a feminist to object to nude and semi-nude imagery. I'd love to see more males objecting to this kind of stuff, and not as a result of being brainwashed by feminism.

It would be in just as bad taste if a girl wore a shirt like that. He's obviously learned his lesson. Can we scrap it and move on now? You simpering SJW on either side don't get any sympathy from me.

—————

Now we come to the stories where people get no sympathy from me for being stupid, and I'd feel the same way about them if they had done the same thing and were the opposite gender.

—————

1. Well too bad so sad, not everybody likes Seinfeld, a lot of people aren't even familiar with the jokes because they never got into the lame series. So guys, you blew it with this stupid meme joke. My heart bleeds for you. Not.

—————

2. Misunderstandings, hair-trigger tempers, and hactivists/trolls, good golly, what a mess.

—————

3. There's plenty of blame to go around here, and - it happened on a dating site after all. Olivia, just what were you expecting when you put that sleazy song quote up there? Girls, relax. And the troll who made the tasteless rape joke, go die in a hole.

—————

4. Yeah, you're supposed to be firemen, so act like it.

Clue, you don't fight affirmative action by tweeting perverted troll-made sexist stupidity.

I hate affirmative action too, but I'd hope women who made similar vulgar stupid tweets would get sacked too.

—————

5. I don't care what excuses these drunks dream up, that filthy meme needs to die. You don't get to say something ugly and stupid to a reporter and then hide behind the excuse that you didn't have original thoughts in your head and were soused so you let an especially obscene and idiotic chain letter do the talking for you. (Note: Language warning about the KnowYourMeme.com link, the meme is presented in full in the url itself as well as seen on the page about its origin and virality.)

The culprit behind this stupid hoax? John Cain. And yes, it started out as an anti-Fox News hoax.

"But everybody does it and reporters should be cool with it and have a thicker skin" doesn't cut it. Grow up or shut up.

There's no excuse for these guys' behaviour whatsoever. Nobody forced the booze down their throats. They chose to get plastered, which they knew full well might lead to them acting stupid.

—————

It's the same as always. If you don't want to get fired or have your reputation trashed, don't get stupid and beastly.

Over - and - out!
