"That's it, I'm out of here." said Nick in disgust.
"You're not going anywhere!" NT lunged for him. "You chose that girl and you'll stay with her."
"If I'd known what a screw-up she really was," Nick tried to appeal, "I never should have abandoned you as a friend for her."
"Oh, please!" NT looked back at him with disgust.
"Grow the heck up!" Tonya as Indy snapped, using a much stronger word than 'heck'.
This time it was Sigma who pointed her gun at Tonya. "Watch yourself, brat." She said coldly.
"Yeah, NT," Tonya sneered, "Watch yourself!"
"I'm not the brat, however much you long for me to be." NT shouted back, letting out a little of her pent-up rage.
"Indy isn't my type!" Nick protested.
"Regret it all you want," NT said sternly, "It's too late. I wouldn't want anything to do with you if we were the last two people on earth. And you knew all along that Tonya was a screw-up. Any idiot with a barely functioning brain and glimmer of a conscience could've figured that out from the get-go. You just didn't give a demn."
"I need to explain why I did it, though!" Nick tried again.
"I don't care about all your worthless excuses, you were conned!" said NT. "And you like evil too much. You have an evil nature."
"I could've turned out good if I had just listened to your warnings."
"But you didn't, your choice."
"I didn't because I just thought you didn't understand. I thought you were dismissing me."
"Huh!" NT laughed derisively. "Pot, kettle! Don't even think of putting this on me, jerk!"
"Seriously NT! Every time I talked to you about it, you always said not to make time for the devil."
"Yes, because that goes completely against everything I believe in. Your hell stories were a load of bulltosh, and you went out of your way to make time for the devil, and you were fixated on trying to get me to abandon my principles by pulling me down into your quagmire of dark demonic obsession. I was stronger and had a mind of my own, so I refused. But look where it got you."
"NT, I really did care about you."
"Wrong! You were infatuated with me," she could barely get the words out and was visibly cringing. "Ameh and Capri and Pippi, even my mom saw that. I didn't. I wanted a friend, and I thought you were just lonely and needed a friend as well. But you wanted a girlfriend and I couldn't be that for you. We never could've stayed friends because of all your stupid devil talk, and we have nothing in common anyway. I was only hurt because you broke your initial word to me that you would always be my friend no matter what. Then I was relieved. No more anxiety about letting you down or getting ditched by you."
"But you still would've been a better friend than Tonya. You don't know how obsessive she was!"
"Oh, yes I do," said NT.
"I don't mean just about hating you."
"Yeah, like that's no big deal at all!" NT said sharply, glaring at him.
I didn't mean it that way," Nick protested, "I mean she's always - "
Forget it!" NT cut him off. "If I'd known you were a perv, and worse, a sadist, - " her sentence was cut off by Nick.
"I wouldn't be if I had listened to you!" Nick appealed again.
"Wrong, Nick, you wouldn't listen to me BECAUSE you're a sick, cruel, twisted, evil-addict! You wouldn't be a torturer if you didn't have it in you. And you're a pity-junky. You were only friends with me in the first place because you saw I was lonesome and you felt sorry for me. But when my life became more secure, you saw Tonya as needing more pity, which translates to some kind of sick turn-on for you."
Nick's jaw dropped. How in the world could that innocent little girl have figured that out? "And Tonya played it for all she was worth, too," he said. "She told me you would've fought her for me if you really cared and wanted me as a friend. She threw the biggest hissy-fits every time she couldn't get me to say anything nasty about you in agreement with her! For all the things she claimed about you, she was twenty times worse for any of them!"
"Traitor! Backstabber! You stupid, gutless wimp!" Tonya, forgetting she was trying to be Indy, roared at Nick, enraged.
"What comes around, goes around!" Ameh taunted.
NT continued. "So then Tonya went from exciting new prospect to boring to you? Because you didn't have to convince her to embrace evil and perverted, she was already there."
Nick hung his head. He was being mentally dissected publically, by someone he never thought had the mental capability to do so, and it was making him very uncomfortable.
NT continued. "You couldn't bring me down to that. So then came Isabelle - same deal. You saw her as a damsel in distress and someone you could try turning into some evil-loving weirdo like you. Only she was already there. I saw that video of you, her, and your brother when helping Indy move out of that townhouse."
"What? Which video?" Nick's eyes went wide.
"You were doing all kinds of things I couldn't believe I was seeing - things I'd never do. Disgusting sexual things... And then you had the nerve to tell Isabelle she was like the best of Tonya and the best of me rolled up in one."
"is that what you said!"? Tonya burst out again. "You compared that twink Isabelle to me? The best of me and her!?" she jabbed a finger disgustedly in NT's direction as if she was pointing at a pile of dog crap.
"Okay, I was wrong about that as well. Yes, she was really pretty and so vulnerable. But she was a nut! And Tonya was just as obsessive about getting rid of her. Any pretty little dark-haired girl that ever looked at me the right way, Tonya would accuse me of having affairs with. She hated every one of them, and Isabelle was so easily twitted because of her own issues. They were all absolutely wacked!"
"As if you aren't..." came NT's scornful reply. "That's what helped me to realize the problem with us wasn't me, it was you!"
"NT, you're the only close to normal girl I was ever friends with." Nick tried again.
Bez scoffed. "Diagnosis on him, Matrix?"
Matrix shook his head. "Don't ask."
Ameh snickered.
"He is a hybrid." Thande said.
"What kind?" asked Ameh. "Cross between a numbskull and a peabrain?"
Human and wolf." Thande stated.
A few astonished reactions followed, and then NT continued.
"You were attracted to me in a way that was indecent and you had no right to be! You're a hormonal drip and a liar! So, you're going down with Tonya and I'll gladly make sure of that!" She took a deep breath and slowly, quietly let it out, profound relief showing on her face." she finished.
"What a touching little speech, honey, now is there anything you'd like to say to Tonya, my friend," the fake Indy approached NT, talking in a mock sweet tone, and touching her on the shoulder.
NT glowered and responded by giving her a violent shove. "Don't touch me! Don't you EVER touch me!"
Tonya fell to the floor, and sat up, looking angrily at NT.
"Here it is, Tonya's background." Ameh had her PDA set up and ready to expose everything. "And I have a feeling you're really gonna hate her more after this..."
