Kathy

The story of Kathy, the girl who got ignored until she freaked out and became a homicidal, suicidal psycho!

The great questions of the ages seem to be:

Did Kathy jump or did she get shot? Did she kill her parents or herself?

The answer, all of the above, and none of the above. It never happened.

This stupid chain letter has scared people enough for them to ask for guidance.

A list of dated occurrences of this hoax follows.

The two answers above my own on November 7, 2011 Yahoo question, if I could give them more than just a "good answer" I would. They were great. One mentioned the intent of the juvenile who starts this rubbish is to clog mail servers and generally cause trouble. The other answer came from a senior who said they were in their 70s and seen a lot of these chain letters without forwarding and is still here to tell about it.

Another blogger suggests that people not let themselves get suckered into spreading these hoaxes.

There are different versions of this chain hoax story, each of them already ridiculous on their own. Putting them into one account for a smash of this hoax in its various mutations, should show how hoaxers can't keep their dumb crap straight. It should also cause anyone who ever believed in and passed it on, or posted it as a pathetic joke in order to junk up some site for the purpose of perpetuating a hoax and annoying people, to look back on it as one of the stupidest low points in their lives. Once you're past the stage of believing in fairy-tales, there is no excuse to believe in and spread these chain letters. They are no truer, and far less likeable.

Now, for the meme-mangling.

🤥🙃😏Memes: DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE DONT SEE

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, stop your obnoxious repetition or I'll run you through with a cyber-axe!

😏Meme3: ONE HUNDRED, WHICH FAILED TO CLOSE!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: What the heck are you on about?

🤥Meme1: Warning WARNING: PLEASE KEEP READING! OTHERWISE YOU WILL DIE, EVEN IF YOU ONLY READ THE “WARNING” PART!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, like in the Clarissa meme? And do you want to know what happened to her?

🙃Meme2: ONCE YOU'VE STARTED READINGTHIS YOU CAN'T GET OUT!

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Right, like in the Bloody Mary, Summer/Samara, Teddy, James Ronald etc. etc. etc. chain letters - well, I have news for you. You are powerless and your threat is idle and stupid. Read what happened to these annoying creepy pasta brats here.

🙃😏Memes2&3: rEAD ON IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, so anybody who deletes this without reading, is a suicidal depressive to you? Moron. Look, you can't kill me. Get used to it.

🙃😏Memes2&3: A year ago

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: How generic. "A year ago" can mean any time at all. In 2020, 2019 will be "a year ago" and in 2078, 2077 will be "a year ago" but let's hope this stupid hoax will have died out long before then.

🤥Meme1: There was

🤥🙃😏Memes: a girl named Kathy

🤥🙃Memes1&2: who

🤥🙃😏Memes: was

🤥🙃Memes1&2: ignored

🙃😏Memes2&3: hated

🤥🙃😏Memes: by

🤥🙃Memes1&2: everyone.

😏Meme3: all.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Ignored because she didn't exist. Hated because she's a Mary Sue in a chain letter hoax.

🤥Meme1: Her parents ignored her, kids at school ignored her and basically everyone ignored her.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Because everyone there was capable of only one thing, being hateful and stupid I suppose…

So, this is where I'm supposed to feel sad or something…

😏Meme3: We all

🙃😏Memes2&3: made fun of her.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: okay, so you admit you were one of the bullies. You stink. Get out of my way before I pulverize you with the nearest cyber object!

🙃😏Memes2&3: She was ignored. Even

🙃Meme2: by messages.

😏Meme3: for the message.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: How can messages ignore something? Messages aren't people, they aren't living things, messages are things we send to each other, they don't think or live, so they can't ignore, which is only something a living thing can do. Got it?

🤥Meme1: After twelve years of this,

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: but this is only "a year ago".

🤥Meme1: she killed her parents.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Hmmm, Clarissa did the same thing.

😏Meme3: And ... the

🙃Meme2: One

🙃😏Memes2&3: day

🙃😏Memes2&3: she decided to

🙃Meme2: kill herself.

😏Meme3: commit suicide.

🙃Meme2: Because

😏Meme3: ......... CA ...use

🙃😏Memes2&3: even

🙃Meme2: her

😏Meme3: their

🙃😏Memes2&3: parents

🙃Meme2: ignored her.

😏Meme3: ignore you.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Cry me an ocean over some nonexistent girl you made up in your redundant hoax-originating head. You're stupid. So besides that, whose parents are also ignoring me? Why should I care?

🤥Meme1: When the police got there, she tried to kill them too and was shot.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: But you said she was ignored and hated. So just who called the police?

🙃Meme2: She

🙃😏Memes2&3: jumped

🙃Meme2: out

😏Meme3: from

🙃😏Memes2&3: her window.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: The incredible ignorable Kathy, she can do some amazing things, like getting shot while jumping out a window!

🙃😏Memes2&3: No one noticed

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf:But the police shot her out the window! I repeat, who called the police?

🙃Meme2: until

😏Meme3: until

🙃😏Memes2&3: people started

🙃Meme2: dissapearing.

😏Meme3: to disappear.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Oh, sure, that makes sense. "Hey, look, did anybody just notice Kathy just jumped? Because I just saw Mary over there, disappear into thin air! Oh, please, how idiotic can these chain hoaxes get?

🤥Meme1: Right before she died, she vowed to kill everyone who ignored her.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Psychos say a lot of crazy things.

🙃😏Memes2&3: Kathy

🙃Meme2: haunted

😏Meme3: had a scary

🙃😏Memes2&3: them.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Huh: she haunted had a scary them? You're not making any sense.

🙃😏Memes2&3: She made them suffer

🙃Meme2: like the way she

😏Meme3: as he

🙃😏Memes2&3: did.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: DUh, hey, Clueless, for Kathy to make them suffer like she did, she would have to IGNORE them, not haunt them, remember? no matter how many scaries she has.

And who is this 'he'? So far you haven't even given the police or yourself a gender. the only constant character in this silly hoax is Kathy.

🙃😏Memes2&3: She hung them slowly and

😏Meme3: repeatedly

🙃Meme2: stabed

😏Meme3: stabbed

🙃Meme2: them over and over

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: "repeatedly" "over and over" Your redundancy is really annoying. It's a sign of very bad writing.

🙃😏Memes2&3: very slowly

🙃Meme2: so they

😏Meme3: which

🙃Meme2: could

😏Meme3: can

🙃😏Memes2&3: suffer

🙃Meme2: like

😏Meme3: just as

🙃😏Memes2&3: she

🙃Meme2: did.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: And as if they wouldn't have put up a huge fight for their lives, but just sit there and let her poke at them with a knife and wrap a rope around their necks, yeah, right, rubbish! Anyway, since when does stabbing (with two 'b's) come out to being the exact same thing as ignoring? Her own death was quick and un-noticed, after she was ignored all her life, remember? You can't tell a truly scary story to save your own life. You stink at it. This chain is a pathetic joke and it's a wonder to me how anybody could actually believe in it.

🤥Meme1: Copy and paste this to 5 other websites or Kathy will think you are ignoring her and kill you at 11:11 pm tonight.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Wow, just think, Kathy's such a simpleton that all it would've taken for her not to feel ignored all these years by her parents and schoolmates was if they all passed on chain letters! ROTF!

Well, I'm not posting it to other web sites, or by a certain time, and I'm not ignoring Kathy. Instead, I'm ridiculing and laughing at her chain letter. So there, Kathy, you are no longer ignored. How do you like the attention now?

🙃😏Memes2&3: If you

🙃Meme2: don't

🙃😏Memes2&3: send this message to 15

🙃Meme2: diffrent

😏Meme3: different

🙃Meme2: comments

😏Meme3: opinions,

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: so, I'm supposed to send this dreck to 15 'different' comments, but not to 15 different opinions? Right...

🙃😏Memes2&3: you will die

🙃Meme2: tonight

😏Meme3: today

🙃😏Memes2&3: by Kathy.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Right, and the planet Neptune is actually made of tons of smoked salmon, and I just bought Facebook for 5 billion and will sell it to you. In other words, BULLCRAP! You can't even decide if Kathy should kill anyone by day or by night. No, you and your silly little ignored girl are not scaring me.

🙃😏Memes2&3: Because

🙃Meme2: she

😏Meme3: he

🙃Meme2: considers

😏Meme3: believes that

🙃😏Memes2&3: it

🙃Meme2: ignooring her.

😏Meme3: ignores him.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Eh? She changes genders when he gets ignored? Well, considering she can manage to get shot and jump out from a window all at once, what other tricks does she/he do, wait around on the ceiling like the toma Sota Balcu kid?

Guess what? she's not getting ignored by me, her stupid little story chain is mangled. Yeah, Kathy, enjoy the attention, or not. I'm not sending this dumb dreck message to anyone.

🙃😏Memes2&3: Example 1:

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: *YAWN* More fake examples. Wake me up when you're through.

🙃😏Memes2&3: Dave looked

🙃Meme2: at

😏Meme3: in

🙃😏Memes2&3: the first

🙃Meme2: sentece

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: It's 'sentence' with an 'n' before the 'c'

😏Meme3: sentence

🙃😏Memes2&3: and said, "Spam"

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Because that's exactly what chain letters are, moron.

🙃😏Memes2&3: And the next day the neighbors found him in his

🙃Meme2: backyard,

😏Meme3: yard, back,

🙃😏Memes2&3: dead.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Yes, Dave was right, it's spam, but if he keeled over in his backyard, I guarantee this chain letter didn't do it, because one has nothing to do with the other. I could listen to "Sunny Came Home" on my Ipod tonight, and it could rain tomorrow, but the song on my Ipod wouldn't have made it happen.

🙃😏Memes2&3: Example 2: Joane

🙃😏Memes2&3: Joane was

🙃Meme2: alone.

😏Meme3: the same.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Huh? Alone and the same aren't, well, the same thing…

😏Meme3: It was not her husband and children.

🙃Meme2: She didn't have kids or a husband.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Well then whose husband and children are you talking about?

🙃😏Memes2&3: She had

🙃Meme2: alot of

😏Meme3: many

🙃😏Memes2&3: friends.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Whoop-dee-doo. There's a space between 'a' and 'lot. And I'll bet she turned all those friends to enemies when she spammed them with this idiotic chain letter.

🙃😏Memes2&3: When She had

🙃Meme2: a sleepover

😏Meme3: the bedroom

🙃😏Memes2&3: with them

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Dude, chick, it only makes sense that she probably isn't going to even be old enough to marry let alone have kids if she's still having sleepovers with "a lot" of her friends.

🙃Meme2: she

🙃😏Memes2&3: quickly had to check

🙃Meme2: her

😏Meme3: his

🙃😏Memes2&3: e-mail.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: At a sleepover, and she doesn't choose to check her or his email, (Why check his? She spying on some guy too?) But "has to quickly" check as if it was some urgent call from the office she's too young to be working in, or it was some sort of urge she suddenly got for no apparent reason? Right, wow, this is dumb.

🙃😏Memes2&3: She saw

🙃Meme2: this

😏Meme3: the

🙃😏Memes2&3: message and

🙃Meme2: sent

😏Meme3: sends

🙃Meme2: it to only

😏Meme3: only to

😏Meme3: the

🙃😏Memes2&3: 6 people because

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Because she was a moron and thought she'd send to somebody - just in case? Because she meant to send to 15 people and didn't have that many addresses memorized or in her address book? Because the comments were closed on the sites she went to and she couldn't spam them? Either way you look at it, she's still a moron.

🙃😏Memes2&3: she thought

😏Meme3: that

🙃😏Memes2&3: she

🙃Meme2: couldn't

😏Meme3: does not

🙃😏Memes2&3: die

😏Meme3: in the

🙃Meme2: that

🙃😏Memes2&3: night

🙃Meme2: beacuse

😏Meme3: because

🙃😏Memes2&3: she was

🙃Meme2: surounded

😏Meme3: surrounded

🙃😏Memes2&3: by people.

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: People or no people, Joane didn't get killed by a chain letter.

🙃😏Memes2&3: The next morning,

🙃Meme2: Joane's friend

😏Meme3: friends found that in his Joane bath –

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: what? Some guy who is still unnamed, was at this sleepover, and in the morning, Joane's friends found his, what, his emails in his Joane bath?

More than just a bit weird, there.

😏Meme3: If you send it, KATHY will you find

🧝‍♀️Ocean Elf: Cathy has already been found, her chain is smashed,, and not being sent anywhere.
