The other hoax is about a 5-year-old rape victim, Maria, who never existed.
So let's deal with the 14/4-year-old Dominic James Dagner hoax first.
This hoax has been going around since at least 2010 and has been constantly mutating, as the 2011 and 2013 Facebook versions show. In addition to Facebook, this stupid hoax has been running rampant on other social networks.
Not only have there been texts with ugly bald-faced lies, but again some mutations featured pictures of a boy's bloody torsoe.
Seriously, what is with these sick sadistic hoaxers and their addiction to images of injured kids!? These hoaxers are truly sick.
So, Dominic James Dagner, what a jinxed kid sob story. Talk about playing hero and running into the same hard luck loop every time.
Putting all the mutations with their various rewordings, $amounts per forward, dates, companies and hospitals named, this should help expose the story and all other such hoaxes for the particularly rotten stinking rubbish they are! I won't number each different mutation, there are so freaking many.
It cropped up again in 2014, on Facebook.

And where's the mother in all this? My advice to her, get out of that relationship. Why she'd marry a loser like that in the first place is more than a bit of a puzzler. The guy must've shown some signs of being violent long before whatever date this story is said to happen.
What I'm getting at is this: the story is bull and it mutates to try looking more true the next time around.
But this is all lies. It never happened. and I am sick to the back teeth with these hoaxes always vilifying the father or stepfather.

One more thing. This story really doesn't add up. In an attempt to appall readers into forwarding out of emotion overdrive, the sick minds behind this story forgot to plug some big plot holes.
If the little girl wasn't harmed, how did the chain letter reach the conclusion there was an attempted rape at all? The little girl was only 2/6 years old she couldn't tell anybody what if anything happened at 2, and at 6, she could've said "Daddy/big brother was hurting me." the chain said she wasn't hurt. Well, any rape attempt is hurting, so there's a glaring contradiction right there. How was it during the big gun fight that she didn't get hurt or shot anyway?
they couldn't get the story from the mother, who was at work, so she wouldn't have been there to witness anything, and our ever so brave young 14/4-year old hero, Dominic James Dagner is only hanging on to life by a thread, so he's not talking. assuming the step-dad didn't give any sort of confession, and why would he when he could probably get away with claiming self-defence unless and until the boy eventually regained consciousness? The step-dad could claim the boy had attacked him, and maybe even turned the gun on himself at some point during the fight. And really, how in the world could the step-dad be in the middle of raping the little girl and shooting the boy all at the same time?
the story is simply overkilled, unrealistic garbage.
So how about this one instead. Let's assume there was no attempted rape at all, and the step-dad is an innocent man, set up to take the fall.
What actually happened was this:
Dominic James goes nuts trying to rob his own house, threatening to turn a gun on his step-dad and little sister, gets into a fight, and is shot because the step-dad had to defend himself and the girl from Dominic James, who was probably higher than a kite, willing to kill for the next drug fix or more money for drugs. The two men fight over the gun, and Dominic James manages to wrestle it away from the stepdad. He beats him unconscious with it. Turning the gun on himself, D.J. sees his life going completely down the toilet at this point, he probably figures it's better to shoot himself and if by any unfortunate chance he survives, he can always try to blame it on the step-dad and wrap the whole thing up in a false rape story.
Considerably less honourable but more realistic. What chain letter is going to tell you to forward to save a 14-year-old violent drug addict?

Once there was this worthless, two-legged parasite who got his sick kicks torturing and murdering people, pinning the crimes on others, and trolling the net, looking for pictures of sick and injured kids to satisfy himself and start horrible hoaxes about when he got the urge to torture and there was no one around at the time.
His name? Dominic James Dagner!
He had gotten so good at fraud and avoiding capture that he somehow managed to pull off an imitation of a four-year-old boy at a public washroom when trying to run from the cops.
But this eventually spelled his demise.
One day, he breezed on to the wrong computer screen and got blasted and blown to smithereens by a flare-up from the idiot's Walmart exploding toilet experiment.
