If you're looking for good episodes to watch, my personal favorite list is Luna Eclipsed, Cutiemark Cronicles, Read it and weep, lesson 0, Sonic Rainboom, and Feeling pinkie keen. And just a FYI, some of us really don't differentiate all that much, furry or brony, same diff at least for the most extreme of the MLP fandom. I know that a lot of what is said in Docs and the shows are opinions and you have to weed through all the bs propaganda. But hey, propaganda and lies are forced into people's minds. I compare Bronyism to religion because as I said i tried to joke baout it on "their thread" (apparently their are bronies in high (WG) places that give them a special privilege to have a private sandbox and NOBODY is invited. If you disturb their sandbox in any way they get REALLY violent and unpleasant which is usually orchestrated by the Brony Family's (IRA and the Bananos have nothing on these guys) front men who I will refer to as the enforcers. Because apparently in the land of MLP if you joke at all about it and how creepy it is you will get a wrath only compared to the Kim Jong il era  brought down upon you proceeded by a violent spew of threats that reminded me of what Nicholas Cage is like without his meds. I would not feel comfortable if I went to go hang out at a friend of a friends house and that friend put on MLP. Mostly I don't watch when they do, but those caught my eye. Discord seemed very Q-like (Star Trek's Q, not Bond's) and it turns out they wrote him based on Q. Then got Q himself (John de Lancie) to be Discord. Release your inner geek, (some) MLP episodes belong right up there with Animaniacs and other weirdness. It's like Furries, I'm not a Furry, but I know some and ya, it's weird, but smile and nod and move along at worst - better yet, stay and talk, you may meet someone interesting. Just like with any group, the violent proselytizers are not usually (there are some groups that are exceptions) the norm. Don't get weirded out by the one that the group itself probably thinks are weird.  I'm a member of a group that was once the outcasts and freaks, that's now pretty mainstream, the SCA. So been there, done that on dealing with the whole gamut of over enthusiasm on SCA members parts to hostility and ignorance on the part of people we meet. Ocean Elf: Somehow I doubt anyone in the SCA ever got so fanatical as Twi-hards, bronies or otaku. Nor can I imagine that kind of society provoking a backlash of annoyance or creep-out. As for your suggestion to give MLP a try, nope, not gonna happen. I was never interested in MLP to start with, now it is a gigantic meme.
