👩Maggie: Almost all Bronies can’t customize their own ponies because they’re either too lazy or lack creativity(note, I said almost all, not all of them since only 10% of them are actually creative). They even made fun of customizers on Equastria Daily’s April Fool’s joke by putting the other deviant’s custom ponies and causes the fanbrats to flame them just because the customizers are more of a fans of old school MLP than FIM. That causes a divided among fans which is Bronies vs Old school MLP fans. It’s gotten so bad that the old fans had to disable the comments or remove their pics not just by the fanbrats by anti fans like yourself.

👩Maggie: Just to let you know, about 80% of the Bronies are only into the show because it’s a fad thanks to 4chan. They’re already showing signs of leaving because of this Alicorn Twilight and Equastria Girls controversy and they were bitching about it. I’m glad that it’s causing the jerks and the fanbrats to leave the fandom for good since they were never interested in the franchise to begin with(they didn’t even like the first episodes of FIM when it first aired). How much you want to bet that they will not stick around when this fad fades? They won’t keep liking the show if it’s no longer ‘cool’, they’ll just leave and go find another fad fandom to go after.

👩Maggie: The point is, Sonic fans aren’t any better and are guilty of Sonicizing the characters from other shows(fandoms also do the same thing) yet you don’t complain about that but it’s not alright for Bronies or old school MLP fans to ponify characters. The pre FIM fans ponified the characters long before FIM came along.

I’m not exactly offended(I guess my original post was worded that way, oh well), I just want to point out some things that the MLP fans have ponified the characters long ago before FIM came along. Like that Sonic custom pic, it’s a Gen 3 bait(FIM toys are tiny) and by checking her DA page, she has been a fan for a long time. She was already flamed by the FIM purists for using pre FIM baits and when you post that pic, I was more concerned for her that she’s gonna get flamed by the anti fans despite that she made it in early 2010. I’ve seen MLP fans getting wrongfully trolled on their MLP fanart like one guy who was a fan of the older series despite that the pic he made was all the way back in 2005-06.
It’s not the first time that her custom pics is posted on other sites before. Do you remember that infamous Equastria Daily April Fool’s joke? They posted the pre FIM custom ponies on the page linking to their DA pages and what suppose to be a joke ended up the fanbrats harassing the artists on their pages. They also did not like it we customize FIM characters using Gen 1 baits and bitched at us for making them ‘fat’. If it’s a G4 bait, it’s fine but heaven forbid if you dared to make an FIM character by using non FIM baits, they’ll go apecrap about it. It’s gotten so bad that the owner apologize but as I said before, the damage has been done.

It seems to me that MLP fandom is too following in Sonic’s path. FIM started out good but then in later seasons, all hell breaks loose(i.e. Derpy controversy, Purpletinker incident, etc.) and sadly, I fear that the fandom has gone so bad that it most likely damage beyond repair of our once calm community that we’re in. :( I like MLP better when it wasn’t so popular, it was our inner circle until 4chan came along and ruined everything for all of us. If they never turned this show into a stupid internet meme, we wouldn’t be in this mess right now.

It also doesn’t help that Hasbro gives in the fan service(i.e. Derpy Hooves anyone?) and once they did that, the Groanies demand more. Hasbro should have not given in and I have a feeling the reason why the made Equastria Girls and Alicorn Twilight is to get rid of those nimrods which seems to be working. With any luck, the fad will die down by next year if Hasbro stick to their guns and make the show less interesting to them long enough for them to leave and never come back. I just want the fandom back the way it was before FIM came along but sadly, you and I and everyone else knows that is never gonna happen.

👩Maggie: Same here. It was around the time I just discovered the dark side of the fandom when Rainbow told me this. I feel really bad for that poor former animator and Rainbow’s ponysona. I just hope those nimrods that flamed gets run over by a truck or better yet, a fast moving train. I’m just glad the original MLP creator, Bonnie Zachalre, doesn’t have a Facebook nor has an online profile so the Groanies won’t go after her(they called her an ‘old hag’ that failed to capture the audience like Lauren Faust did or that she created the original ‘Satanic’ MLP). It’s even funnier that the FIM episodes is based on previous generations or that Applejack and Spike are from G1 series(shouldn’t they hate them too?) or that Faust is a fan of Gen 1(her DA username is the name of her favorite G1 Pegasus pony).

In one of your past articles about SOJ hating sonic, not only are they making him more kiddy, but there’s also the fact that barely anybody knows that they more other games, far less kiddy and japanese no less(Yakuza withstanding but still core), but it’s because they never advertise and show them like they do for Sonic. Do you think that’s some kind of deliberate way, don’t know if I can say this right, to keep people away from their more American/Core games? I mean, they like cute crap and they wanna make it and resent their more U.S. games. So do you think there’s something there? I mean after all, look what happened to the Tom Kalinske situation.

🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Actually I think anime is the worst, then MLp and certain creepy pastas, and to make this even more nightmarish, a lot of people belonging to one fandom, also belong to the others.
👩Maggie: They just tied unless FIM fandom dies out(which is most likely) then Sonic will be back in number 1.
🧝♀️Ocean Elf: Every fandom has those stupid feuds and fan wars. The reasonable part of the Sonic fanbase isn't trying to dominate the internet like MLP fandom, which is more like Twilight and anime fandom that way.
