Bronyism is the "My Little Pony" fandom that got jumpstarted on the troll den 4chan as a joke. People took it seriously, and turned MLP into a social 'justice' movement called "New Sincerity". How ironic.

I think at least some of the blame for Hollywood going woke may be due to these rabid fandoms.
